Sales of brain-boosting omega-3 fish oil supplements have leapt as parents seek to help children in the run-up to exams.
Experts say the oil aids concentration and helps increase knowledge retention. Haliborange has seen a 91 per cent rise in sales in the last month. The increase comes after research showed parents are more nervous of exam results than youngsters.
But children don’t share the same views, with 40 per cent more concerned about following latest trends, the survey by Haliborange omega-3’s panel of mothers revealed.
Research found 63 per cent of parents are so concerned about children’s revision they plan changes to the family routine to improve it.
