Head Claims Fish Oil Supplements Boosted Performance Of Pupils

A BBC article has reported on a trial carried out at Toft Hill Primary School, Bishop Auckland.

Almost every child took part in the year-long trial - taking a fish oil supplements on a daily basis carrying on taking the supplements through weekends and holidays.

Mr Whitfield claims fish oil supplements have boosted the performance of pupils in the classroom - and on the football pitch. Mr Whitfield said the benefits were seen within a couple of months, and urged other schools to take up the practice
